PROCESS
Good content doesn’t start with a blank page.
It starts with the right questions. Here’s what working together actually looks like, from first brief to final file.
Brief & discovery
Every project begins with a conversation. I want to understand your audience, your goals, your brand voice, and what success looks like before a single word is written. For ongoing engagements, this becomes a shared editorial framework we can build on.
Research & angle
I don’t write from a surface-level brief. Whether it’s a destination piece, a collection page, or a content strategy, I dig into what competitors are doing, what readers are actually searching for, and where the story lives. I’m searching for the counter-intuitive angle, the details no one else has noticed.
Draft & structure
I write to a standard most editors would call publication-ready on the first pass. Structure, hierarchy, and flow are built in from the start, not patched in during revisions.
Edit & refine
I incorporate feedback efficiently and specifically. I don’t rewrite everything when one thing isn’t working. Revision rounds are purposeful, not circular.
SEO & optimization
Every piece I deliver is optimized for how people actually find content, whether that’s organic search, Google Discover, or platform-specific distribution. This isn’t a layer added at the end; it’s woven into how I think about headlines, structure, and framing from the start.
WORK WITH ME
Let’s see if we’re a good fit.
I work with a small number of clients at a time, which means every project gets the attention it deserves. If you have a brief in mind, I’d love to hear it.
